First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study compares two different multifocal lenses used in cataract surgery: the Clareon PanOptix and the AcrySof PanOptix. The goal is to see which lens provides better contrast sensitivity (ability to see differences in light and dark) three months after surgery. Forty adults having cataract surgery will receive one lens type in each eye, and their vision will be tested under various lighting conditions.
