NCT ID NCT06719739
First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special type of lens implant (functional IOL) helps cataract patients who also have a thin scar on the retina (epiretinal membrane) see better than a standard lens. About 90 adults over 40 will be enrolled and followed for several months. The goal is to learn if the advanced lens provides clearer vision without glasses for these patients.
