First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested a new 4D printed cast against traditional fiberglass casts for people with wrist fractures. The goal was to see if the new cast keeps the bone in place just as well while being more comfortable. 25 adults with wrist fractures were followed for 6 months to compare healing, comfort, pain, and quality of life.
