Web tools aim to boost genetic testing in families with hereditary cancer risk

NCT ID NCT06927947

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests whether online tools can help people with hereditary cancer syndromes share risk information with their relatives and encourage them to get genetic testing. About 500 participants (patients and their family members) will use a web-based platform to invite relatives and provide educational content. The goal is to see if these tools increase the number of relatives who get tested, which is currently low.
