First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether using bandages with cartoon characters on them can help children aged 6 to 11 feel less fear, stress, and pain during burn dressing changes. The children were randomly assigned to get either cartoon-printed or plain bandages. Researchers measured their fear, stress, pain, and heart rate before, during, and after the procedure to see if the fun bandages made a difference.
