Summary
This early-stage study tested a new treatment for children and young adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has come back or not responded to standard therapy. The treatment uses the patient's own immune cells, modified in a lab to recognize and attack leukemia cells. The main goal was to check safety and find the right dose.
