New ultrasound study aims to see inside carpal tunnel syndrome
NCT ID NCT07433166
First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study will use ultrasound to measure the size and blood flow of the median nerve in 100 people with carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers will compare findings between diabetic and non-diabetic patients to see if there are differences. The goal is to better understand how the nerve changes in this condition, not to test a new treatment.
