New needle combo could ease carpal tunnel pain without surgery

NCT ID NCT07324005

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests if a new needle procedure can help people with carpal tunnel syndrome. The treatment combines releasing a tight wrist ligament with injecting a sugar-water solution around the nerve. About 102 adults with moderate symptoms will be followed to see if the combination works better than either treatment alone.
