First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests if a special injection guided by ultrasound can work as well as standard surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome. About 72 adults who have not gotten better with other treatments will be randomly assigned to get either the injection or surgery. The goal is to see if the injection can relieve symptoms like pain and numbness with a faster recovery.
