First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests if a special injection guided by ultrasound works as well as surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome. About 72 adults who haven't gotten better with standard care will be randomly assigned to either the injection or surgery. The main goal is to see if the injection can relieve symptoms and improve hand function just as much as surgery, with potentially faster recovery.
