Hand therapy plus medication may offer better pain relief for carpal tunnel
NCT ID NCT06778798
Summary
This study tested whether combining a pain medication (gabapentin) with a specific hand therapy technique works better than the medication alone for reducing carpal tunnel pain. It involved 72 people diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers randomly assigned participants to receive either just the medication or the medication plus the hand therapy to compare their pain levels and hand function.
