First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This small pilot study looked at whether osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT) can help people with mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. Ten participants received OMT along with standard care. Researchers measured changes in nerve stiffness and hand function using ultrasound and questionnaires. The goal was to see if OMT might ease symptoms and improve daily activities.
