Summary
This study tests a new way to grade carotid plaques using ultrasound, called Plaque-RADS, to see if it can predict stroke risk better than current methods. Researchers will collect data from 855 people with asymptomatic carotid plaques, both from past records and new patients. The goal is to build a risk model that helps doctors identify high-risk individuals early and offer timely treatment to prevent strokes.
