New combo targets hard-to-treat lung cancer in early trial

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether combining two drugs, carfilzomib and sotorasib, is safe and effective for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific KRAS G12C mutation. About 15 adults who have already tried a KRAS inhibitor will receive the combination. The main goal is to find the best dose and check for side effects.
