New study tests two therapies to help dementia caregivers sleep and feel better

Summary

This study looks at how stress, sleep, and activity affect the mood and brain health of people caring for a loved one with dementia. About 120 caregivers aged 55 and older will receive one of two types of talk therapy. Researchers will track changes in depression, anxiety, and sleep using surveys, an MRI brain scan, and a watch that measures movement.
