First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a learning technique called 'retrieval practice' can help family caregivers better remember information about Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. 65 informal caregivers in the US took online tests to see if this method improves their knowledge of symptoms and treatments. The goal is to reduce caregiver burden and improve care for people with dementia.
