First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study followed 30 adults with advanced heart failure who received a CardioMEMS implant, a small wireless device that measures pressure in the lung's blood vessels. The goal was to see how often these patients were hospitalized for heart failure and how their quality of life changed over time. No new treatment was tested; instead, researchers collected data to better understand how the device helps manage the condition.
