Heart recovery program tackles taboo topic: Women's sexual health after cardiac events
NCT ID NCT07426263
Summary
This study tests whether a special educational program can help women with heart disease improve their sexual function and overall well-being during cardiac rehabilitation. The program involves group sessions led by a nurse that address safety, emotional concerns, and practical advice about intimacy after a heart event. Researchers will measure changes in sexual function, anxiety, depression, and quality of life to see if this approach helps women feel better.
