Summary
This study looks at how common cardiac amyloidosis (a protein buildup in the heart) is in people with aortic stenosis (a narrowed heart valve). Researchers will follow 143 patients getting a valve replacement to compare those with and without the protein buildup. The goal is to learn more about the condition and how valve surgery affects it.
