Looking back: do High-Tech braces help kids walk better?
NCT ID NCT06740006
Summary
This study looked back at existing medical records to see if a specific type of lightweight carbon fiber ankle brace improved walking for children and teenagers with conditions like cerebral palsy or spinal cord injuries. Researchers analyzed walking tests and satisfaction surveys from 65 young patients who had already tried the brace in their normal care. The goal was to understand if these braces help with walking speed, stride length, and overall user comfort.
