Summary

This study looked at the best time to give a drug called carbetocin to prevent postpartum hemorrhage (heavy bleeding) after a normal vaginal delivery. Researchers studied 200 first-time mothers with a single baby born at full term. They compared giving carbetocin at different times to see which timing worked best and caused fewer side effects.
