Summary
This study looked at whether a carbohydrate-restricted diet could improve blood sugar and metabolic control in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes. Twenty-five participants aged 10-18 followed the diet for a short period. The main goal was to see if it lowered blood glucose levels and reduced the need for insulin.
