New immune cell therapy tested for Tough-to-Treat colon cancer
NCT ID NCT07247396
Summary
This early-stage trial is testing the safety and finding the right dose of a new CAR-T cell therapy for people with advanced colorectal cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen. The therapy involves collecting a patient's own immune cells, modifying them in a lab to attack cancer, and infusing them back into the abdomen after surgery. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe and to learn how the body handles it.
