First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new, fast-made CAR-T cell therapy for people with severe lupus that hasn't improved with standard treatments. About 18 adults will receive their own modified immune cells to see if it safely reduces disease activity. The goal is to control lupus symptoms and lower the need for high-dose steroids.
