First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This early-stage trial tests a new, quick-to-make CAR-T cell therapy for people with severe lupus that hasn't improved with standard treatments. The goal is to see if it's safe and can reduce disease activity, aiming for low disease activity or remission. About 18 adults with moderate to severe lupus will receive their own engineered immune cells and be monitored for side effects and symptom changes.
