This phase 2 trial tests a new treatment called Senl_B19 CAR-T cells for people aged 3 to 25 with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia that has come back or not responded to standard therapy. What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Senl_B19 autologous anti-CD19 CAR-T cells
What this could lead to
If successful, this could offer a new treatment option for children and young adults with hard-to-treat B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
What could go wrong
This is a phase 2 trial with only 59 participants, so results are still early. CAR-T therapy can cause serious side effects like cytokine release syndrome or neurological issues.
