Engineered immune cells take on multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis

NCT ID NCT07392528

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new treatment called QT-019C, which uses specially engineered immune cells (CAR T-cells) to target and attack faulty immune cells in people with severe autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica, and myasthenia gravis. Up to 15 participants will receive the treatment to see if it is safe and shows early signs of controlling the disease. The goal is to reduce or stop the immune system from attacking the body, but ongoing management may still be needed.
