First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests a new treatment using CAR-T cells (a type of immune cell) for people with autoimmune diseases that have not responded to other therapies. The treatment targets CD19, a protein on certain immune cells, to help control the disease. The study will enroll 3 participants and monitor their response and safety. Early results from similar studies suggest this approach may help patients stop taking other medications and improve their quality of life.
