NCT ID NCT07001878
First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at how high- versus low-potency cannabis affects brain structure in young adults (ages 18-25) with early psychosis. Participants take metformin, a common diabetes drug, for 6 months to see if it helps brain health. The goal is to test if this approach is practical for a larger future study, not to prove treatment effects yet.
