Cannabis trial offers hope for easing sick Children's pain

NCT ID NCT05615389

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether medicinal cannabis can help ease symptoms like pain and discomfort in children receiving palliative care for serious non-cancer conditions. Researchers will enroll 10 children and young adults to test two different cannabis oil formulations, primarily to see if families find the study process acceptable and feasible. The goal is to gather enough information to design a larger future trial that could better measure symptom relief.
