First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at how cannabis ingredients (THC and CBD) affect decision-making, attention, and motivation in people with and without HIV. About 138 adults aged 18-65 who use cannabis infrequently will take either THC, CBD, or a placebo for 5 days. Researchers will measure changes in thinking skills and brain chemicals to better understand cannabis's effects in HIV.
