Scientists test cannabis combo in fight against deadly brain cancer
NCT ID NCT03529448
Summary
This study tested whether adding two cannabis compounds (THC and CBD) to the standard chemotherapy and radiation treatment for a fast-growing brain tumor called glioblastoma is safe. It involved 33 adults with a new diagnosis to find the right dose and check for side effects. The goal was to see if this combination could better control the tumor and help patients live longer.
