Scientists scan brains to see how they heal after quitting cannabis
NCT ID NCT03104257
Summary
This Yale University study aimed to understand how the brain recovers after people stop using cannabis. Researchers used brain scans and cognitive tests to measure changes in 162 participants—some with cannabis dependence and some healthy—over four weeks of abstinence. The goal was to learn how brain chemistry and thinking skills change during recovery.
