First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether adding a drug called interferon-gamma to standard antifungal therapy helps adults with candidemia, a severe fungal blood infection, clear the infection faster. About 200 participants will receive either standard care alone or standard care plus the study drug. The main goal is to see how quickly the fungus disappears from the blood.
