New scan aims to see the immune System's soldiers inside tumors

NCT ID NCT06534190

Summary

This study is testing a new imaging tracer to see if it can safely and effectively show where CD8 immune cells are located in and around solid tumors. Researchers will use a PET scan with this tracer on patients with advanced solid cancers before and during immunotherapy. The goal is to better understand how the immune system interacts with tumors and if this imaging can help predict treatment response.
