Summary
This study looks at 2,000 cancer patients who visit an emergency department to see if going to their usual cancer hospital leads to better outcomes than going to another hospital. The goal is to understand whether specialized emergency care improves survival and reduces time spent in the hospital. No new treatments are tested; instead, the study observes what happens in real-world emergency visits.
