Summary
This early-stage study tested whether combining an experimental cancer drug (serabelisib) with a special diet designed to lower insulin levels could make the treatment safer and more effective. The trial involved 34 adults with advanced solid tumors that had specific genetic changes (PIK3CA mutations). Some participants also received a standard chemotherapy drug (nab-paclitaxel) alongside the new combination.
