How do kids remember being told they have cancer?

NCT ID NCT04392908

Summary

This study aims to understand how children with cancer, their parents, and their healthcare team remember and describe the moment the cancer diagnosis was communicated. Researchers will record and analyze these memories from 70 participants to find common patterns and differences. The goal is to learn how these conversations are experienced by everyone involved, which could help improve how difficult news is shared in the future.
