Digital tool aims to help cancer patients see their progress

This study tested whether a digital dashboard that shows patients and doctors how a sarcoma tumor changes on scans over time helps patients understand their disease better and makes clinic visits more efficient. 92 adults with sarcoma were randomly assigned to either use the dashboard during their visit or receive standard care without it. Researchers measured whether the tool improved how quickly doctors could review cases and whether patients could correctly track their tumor size changes.
