First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study created and tested a short 8-question survey to measure how well women with breast cancer accept their illness. Researchers worked with 101 women to see if the survey reliably captures two key aspects: being open to cancer-related thoughts and feelings, and staying active despite the disease. The goal is to help doctors identify who might benefit from extra psychological support.
