Massive canadian trial aims to find best ICU practices

Summary
This study is testing treatments that are already used in intensive care units (ICUs), such as medicines for low blood pressure, platelet transfusions, and nutrition plans. The goal is to find out which approaches work best for critically ill patients. About 5,500 adults in ICUs will take part, and their outcomes like survival and recovery will be tracked.
