Sleep disorder drug trial aims to stop Parkinson's before it starts

Summary
This study tests whether the drug adalimumab can prevent or slow brain changes linked to Parkinson's disease in people with REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD), a condition that often leads to Parkinson's. About 108 adults with RBD will receive either adalimumab or a placebo for 96 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug reduces a specific brain activity pattern seen in Parkinson's, measured by PET scans.
