Summary
This study surveyed 109 men with prostate cancer and women with breast cancer who were starting radiation therapy. Researchers asked about their use of nutritional supplements and complementary or alternative medicine (CAM) at three different times to see if their habits changed. The goal was to understand what types of CAM patients use and how it relates to their quality of life and treatment side effects.
