First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at how healthy adults' bodies respond to drinking water with different amounts of calcium. 41 participants first drank low-calcium water, then high-calcium water. Researchers measured changes in blood and urine calcium and parathyroid hormone levels after 2.5 hours. The goal was simply to observe metabolic responses, not to treat any disease.
