Summary
This study looked at 146 breast cancer patients receiving 6 cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy to see how their calcium and vitamin levels changed. The main goal was to measure how often patients developed high calcium in their urine (hypercalciuria) between the first and sixth treatment cycles. Researchers also tracked other markers of calcium and vitamin balance. The study did not test a new treatment but aimed to better understand the body's response to standard chemotherapy.
