First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study aims to develop a better way to measure calcium deposits under the skin (calcinosis cutis) in people with scleroderma using CT scans. Researchers will test software that calculates the volume of these deposits and compare it to patient-reported symptoms. About 56 adults with scleroderma and calcinosis will participate. The goal is to create a reliable tool for future treatment trials and clinical care.
