First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests a wristband device called Cala TWO that uses nerve stimulation to help reduce hand tremors in people with essential tremor. About 20 adults who are already scheduled for deep brain stimulation surgery will use the device twice daily for three months. Researchers will measure tremor severity and daily activity improvements, and a smaller group will also have brain scans to see how the device affects brain activity.
