New combo injection aims for major weight loss in asian population

NCT ID NCT05813925

Summary

This study tested whether a new weekly injection called CagriSema helps people with excess body weight lose more weight than an existing medicine, semaglutide. It involved 331 East Asian adults with overweight or obesity, some of whom also had type 2 diabetes. Participants received weekly injections for about a year and a half while researchers measured changes in weight, body fat, and health markers.
