Can a cup of tea and coffee boost your game? scientists test supplements on athletes
NCT ID NCT07268573
Summary
This study tested whether common dietary supplements—caffeine and L-theanine (found in tea)—can improve physical and mental performance in athletes. Twenty young, competitive athletes took capsules containing caffeine, L-theanine, both, or a placebo on separate days. Researchers then measured their strength, endurance, and hand-eye coordination to see if the supplements provided a performance boost.
