Can your morning tea boost your workout? study tests caffeine combo

NCT ID NCT07268573

Summary

This study tested whether common dietary supplements—caffeine and L-theanine (found in tea)—can improve physical and mental performance in athletes. Twenty young, competitive athletes took different combinations of the supplements or a placebo before completing strength, endurance, and coordination tests. The goal was to see if these ingredients, especially when combined, could give athletes a safe, legal edge in their training.
